Duck Duck Chicken
Duck Duck Chicken comes from the playful musical soundscapes of Detroit songwriter and producer Jeff Raudebaugh. His kaleidoscopic sound ranges from bittersweet to whimsical and includes a mix of electronic and organic elements.
Duck Duck Chicken’s lo-fi sound is captured utilizing cast away recording equipment and keyboards from the 1980s, along with guitar, drum machine and other instruments.
Partially inspired by a toy pony which cast a shadow on the brick wall next door, Duck Duck Chicken recorded his newest album, Pony Shadows, at home, using analog and digital equipment, including an old 4 track cassette tape recorder. The result is a collection of strange yet catchy instrumental songs.
